What to Ask the Interviewer?

You have one possibility to answer this question and it’s with a big YES!

Having questions is a way to demonstrate that you are interested in the position, the company, the interview and so on.

When a recruiter asks you if you have questions it’s the perfect time to explore more about the project, vacancy and the company. It’s time to ask everything that you want to know that would impact in your decision to join the company.

Some examples that you can ask are:

  • How was the company started?
  • How many people work in the company right now?
  • With how many people I will be working with directly?

Or, you can also ask about more vacancy specific informations, like:

  • What is the salary?
  • What are the work hours?
  • What are the benefits?

Asking questions is a gold opportunity for you to better understand where and what you are joining! Also, you will show a increased level of interest and curiosity that will count as positive points for you in the recruitment process. Well, unless you are joining the Italian Mafia. In that case, shut up.
